I'm Amber Hopkins. Growing up in bustling London, I've always cherished the tranquility and beauty of nature. I feel it’s incredibly important to bring nature into our homes, especially for our children, so they can grow up surrounded by its calming & inspiring presence.
My Story
​As an artist, I blend two passions - pressed flora & sketching fauna - into pieces that celebrate the natural world. From my small London garden, I grow and carefully press the majority of the flora used in my work, with other seasonal blooms sourced from my delightful local florist, or foraged wildflowers from neighbouring Commons.
I'm committed to making my art as accessible as possible, & therefore have my work professionally printed, with the added benefit of prints retaining their colour & not being at risk of damaging the delicate flora. For those who prefer owning original art, & happily embrace the natural beauty of pressed flora changing colour over time, I plan to have limited releases of my originals.
Whether you're drawn to the intricate details of a sketch, or the timeless elegance of a pressed bloom, my work invites you to connect with the natural world & bring some of the outside in.
